Job summary

Edina, a leading international power generation specialist, seeks an Operations Engineer in Canterbury. You will perform scheduled and unplanned maintenance, diagnose issues, and optimize processes across installations to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions.

The role requires mechanical qualifications and hands-on experience, with a commitment to safety, customer service, and ongoing professional development within a global team.

Qualifications

Minimum ONC/NVQ2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical discipline.
At least three years' industrial mechanical experience.
Strong knowledge of engine and/or generator fundamentals.
Proficient IT skills and MS Office.
Full, valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across installations in Canterbury and surrounding area.
Diagnose and implement reactive maintenance on client installations.
Oversee and optimise operational processes to increase productivity and reduce time and material use.
