Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support the Operations Manager in managing the waste collection and street cleansing contract. The role involves monitoring contractor performance, improving customer satisfaction and ensuring health and safety compliance across Elmbridge and Mole Valley areas.

You will investigate complaints, contribute to the annual improvement plan, and work closely with partner authorities.

Qualifications

• Educated to A Level standard, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level
• Experience monitoring contracts and using performance management systems
• Experience delivering good customer care
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and risk management
• Knowledge of environmental legislation would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager in managing the waste collection and street cleansing contract.
• Monitor day-to-day performance and work with the contractor to improve customer satisfaction.
• Monitor health and safety compliance within the contract.
• Investigate and resolve complaints from residents and councillors.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the annual improvement plan and other projects.
• Expect a mix of desk-based work and field travel within the contract area.
