Ingram Micro is seeking a Field Network Engineer to join our Technical Services team in the UK. The role blends field-based and remote support, resolving hardware and networking issues and returning systems to service quickly.

Applicants should have a strong troubleshooting mindset and communication skills, with experience handling onsite network device and PC/Server installations. Training and development are provided, with a clear path for progression.

Qualifications

Experience enabling onsite and remote technical support for customers.
Experience performing 1st/2nd line Server/PC hardware break fix.
Experience installing and supporting network devices, PCs and servers.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers onsite and remotely as part of the Technical Services team.
Install and support network devices, PCs and servers for customers.
Perform remote and onsite troubleshooting to restore systems.
Pre-stage routers and switches according to documentation.
Facilitate customer adds, moves & changes and project-based installs.
Conduct site surveys and document findings for projects.
Deliver post-sales support and site visits for equipment replacement.
