Sureserve is hiring an Area Manager to lead customer service excellence and compliance across contracts within the London & South East region. You will work closely with HR on staff matters, attend key contract meetings, and manage invoicing, procurement interactions, and 100% servicing compliance.

The role requires a Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer (ACS) with prior Area Manager experience in social housing or construction, plus strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer (ACS qualification)
• Previous Area Manager experience, preferably in social housing/construction
• Excellent customer service orientation
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible attitude with strong organisational skills

Responsabilités

• Manage customer services including complaint resolution
• Collaborate with HR on employee lifecycle issues
• Attend contract meetings and report to Head of Region
• Monitor parts usage and returns to procurement
• Ensure compliance across contracts
• Oversee invoicing and chargeable works management
• Adhere to fixed letter procedures and no-access protocols
• Achieve 100% compliance on servicing programmes
• Lead regional functions and client communications on contracts
• Address customer feedback and drive service improvements
• Coordinate fleet standards with Fleet department
• Assist in bidding and contracting for new work
• Participate in recruitment and probationary monitoring
• Perform ad-hoc administrative duties

Duties for Area Manager

• Responsible for customer services including complaint resolution
• Work closely with HR colleagues on employee-related issues that may occur throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Attend all contract meetings and report back to theHead of Region
• Monitor parts usage and credit returns to procurement department
• To ensure compliance is met on all contracts
• Responsible for all financial invoicing on time and chargeable works management
• Ensure letter procedure is adhered to and take full responsibility for no access procedure
• Achieving and maintaining 100% compliance on servicing programmes
• Manage key functions and roles within the Region
• Be the main link with our clients in terms of contract management
• Handle all forms of feedback from customers and clients and take appropriate action; take the lead on championing customer service
• Ensure the fleet of your region is kept to a high standard. Working with the fleet department when necessary, reporting any issues as they happen
• Assist in the preparation of bidding and contracting for new work
• Heavily involved in recruiting and monitoring probationary periods
• All associated ad-hoc administrative duties

The successful candidate will have

• Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer (holding current ACS qualification)
• Previous Area Manager experience preferably from a social housing/construction background
• Able to provide a high level of courteous, professional customer service
• Highly proficient in MS Office, in particular Outlook and Excel
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible attitude with strong organisational skills
