Job summary

Homes for Students is seeking a Lettings Advisor to support landlords and tenants across our properties. The role combines field-based lettings with admin compliance, requiring travel between sites and strong customer service.

You will manage viewings, renewals, and move-ins, ensuring high occupancy and compliant documentation, while building relationships with stakeholders and delivering a professional, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication and professional written skills.
• Local knowledge of the Lancaster area and rental market.
• Strong understanding of lettings legislation and compliance.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise.
• Confident in building rapport with tenants and landlords.
• Valid driving license and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Book and conduct viewings, in person or virtually, and guide tenants through contracts.
• Manage tenancy takeovers and renewals.
• Ensure compliance documents are issued at the correct stage.
• Oversee ongoing property management, inspections, and repairs escalation.
• Monitor rent arrears, chase payments, and log communications.
• Manage move-in/out processes, inventories, and deposits.
• Maintain accurate property listings with the Marketing Team.
• Build strong customer engagement and report progress to your line manager.
