Job summary

Renault Retail Group UK Ltd is seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer to join the UK IT team. This field-based role supports more than 17 retail locations, delivering on-site and remote helpdesk support while improving technology across a multi-site retail network.

You will work across London and the Home Counties, with occasional travel to other UK locations. A 45-hour week, £35,700 salary, and a 15% annual bonus are offered, plus Renault ECOS/ECOP vehicle scheme and company devices.

Qualifications

• Previous IT support or field engineering experience in a multi-site retail environment.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows environment knowledge.
• Experience supporting end-user devices, hardware deployments and IT infrastructure.
• Understanding of networking concepts including SD-WAN, routing, firewalls, VPNs, LAN and Wi-Fi environments.
• Experience working with suppliers, service providers or project teams.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, ITIL are advantageous.
• Experience of PCI DSS, ISO 27001 or ITIL environments would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support across multiple dealerships, resolving hardware, software and end-user issues.
• Install, configure and support desktops, laptops, telephony equipment, printers, POS devices and IT infrastructure.
• Deliver a blend of field engineering and helpdesk support, handling 1st–3rd line incidents across sites and functions.
• Take ownership of local IT projects, deployments, upgrades and technology rollouts with external suppliers.
• Support network technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, LAN and Wi‑Fi.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, asset registers and support procedures.
• Carry out system maintenance, health checks and testing activities.
