Job summary

Cadent in the UK seeks an IT Field Technical Analyst based in Sheffield to provide frontline technical support across the network, acting as the trusted local IT expert for colleagues.

This hands-on role covers 1st to 3rd line support, local infrastructure, hardware, and driving service improvements; you will travel across operational sites and work with suppliers and wider IT to keep Cadent's services reliable and secure.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 2nd or 3rd line support role within a medium to large organisation.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support capability across multiple technologies.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft or CompTIA certifications desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to travel regularly across operational sites within your assigned network.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical support across the network.
• Support colleagues across the business and ensure they have the tools, technology and support needed to work effectively.
• Handle 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support and manage local IT infrastructure.
• Drive service improvements and ensure technology services remain reliable, secure and fit for purpose.
• Collaborate with operational teams, suppliers and wider IT functions.
