Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in London, Home Counties and surrounding areas is seeking an IT Field Engineer / Deskside Support Engineer to provide onsite and remote IT support to a range of clients across London and the Home Counties in a field-based role.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365, manage Active Directory, Intune, Autopilot, deploy devices, maintain documentation, and contribute to proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a customer-facing IT support role.
• Experience within an MSP environment desirable.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory, and Windows support skills.
• Knowledge of networking, mobile device management, and endpoint security.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote IT support to a range of clients across London and the Home Counties.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Manage Active Directory, Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint devices.
• Perform hardware repairs, deployments, upgrades, and audits.
• Maintain documentation, tickets, and IT asset records.
• Support proactive monitoring, backup testing, and service improvements.
