NatCen is seeking a Field Interviewer in Manchester for a part-time role. You will visit homes, conduct interviews on health, housing, transport and daily life, and record responses using a NatCen device.

Flexible scheduling includes evenings and weekends, with travel around the assigned area and support from a field manager. You are not selling anything; you’ll listen carefully, build trust, and help ensure real experiences are heard.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and visit homes across an assigned area.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home interviews and guide conversations on health, housing, transport and daily life.
• Record responses accurately using a NatCen device.
• Ensure interviews are carried out within scheduled times with courtesy and privacy.
