National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) is seeking a Field Interviewer in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will visit homes, conduct in-home interviews on health, housing, transport and daily life, and guide conversations to capture real experiences.

Full training provided; travel and independent fieldwork are key aspects. You’ll operate with a warm, professional approach, listening carefully and ensuring accuracy in data collection.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required; friendly, reliable and able to listen.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned addresses to conduct in-home interviews across Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas.
• Use a NatCen device to guide structured interviews and accurately record responses.
• Travel within the defined fieldwork area with occasional longer journeys and possible overnight stays.
