National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) is seeking a Field Interviewer in Redhill. This part-time, travel‑based role involves visiting selected addresses to conduct in‑home interviews on topics like health, housing and transport.

You’ll be trained and supported by a field manager, using a NatCen device to guide structured interviews and record responses. A UK driving license and access to a car are expected.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and visit homes across an assigned area.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to build trust.
• Comfortable working independently with a flexible schedule.

Responsabilités

• Visit addresses and carry out in-home research interviews.
• Use NatCen device to guide structured interviews and record responses.
• Travel across weekday, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Complete interviews with attention to accuracy and ethics.
