National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) in Bradford is seeking a part-time Field Interviewer to visit addresses and conduct in-home interviews on topics such as health, housing and transport. You’ll travel within an assigned area and record responses using a NatCen device.

Training is provided and interviews are scheduled to fit participants’ availability. A UK driving license and access to a car are required, with DBS check and right to work essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 hours availability per week.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Visit selected addresses for in-home research interviews on health, housing, transport and public services.
• Travel within an assigned fieldwork area and plan routes for efficient visits.
• Use a NatCen device to guide structured interviews and record responses.
