Job summary

BDR Thermea Group in Warwick is seeking a Field Engineer Planner for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on maximizing engineers' shifts and maintaining service levels while meeting SLAs. You will coordinate workloads and ensure premium customer experience.

The candidate will have scheduling experience, strong Excel and Windows skills, and a proactive, calm approach to a fast-paced environment, supporting first-time fixes and timely updates to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with Scheduling and Planning applications/systems.
• Solution-focused and willing to support any task or person in need.
• Ability to multitask and stay focused on end goals.
• Confident, forward-thinking with calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Owns improving ways of working and suggests changes within the team.
• Excellent PC skills: Windows, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Be proactive in Same Day planning to maximise engineers’ shifts and service levels.
• Export Engineer workloads to maximise utilisation and minimise travel.
• Create Further Visits, order parts from warehouses, highlighting elevated costs.
• Work with Field Team Managers to ensure workload is efficient and supports first-time fix.
• Order parts to ensure engineers have what is required to resolve the product failure.
• Strive to support the business with fewer broken promises and faster response times.
• Make right decisions to deliver premium customer experience.
• Handle all types of communication promptly.
• Communicate quickly with customers if commitments cannot be met.
• Adapt to in-day challenges and optimise resource utilisation.
• Jeopardy management by monitoring and prioritising jobs to meet commitments.
