Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Birmingham is seeking a Regional Planner / Scheduler to coordinate and plan workloads for field engineers, ensuring efficient service delivery across accounts.

The role involves planning PPM and reactive works, liaising with clients, coordinating subcontractors, and monitoring KPIs to meet targets. Strong IT skills with Excel/Word are required, and the position is based in Birmingham with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling or logistics, preferably in facilities management or water treatment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; ability to prioritise and manage multiple workloads.
• Good IT skills including Excel and Word; commercially minded and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive works in line with KPIs.
• Liaise with clients to book work in advance and capture essential job details.
• Coordinate subcontractors, raise purchase orders and organise resources.
• Monitor planning performance, KPIs and revenue tracking; ensure targets are met.
• Maintain accurate records, order parts, and schedule emergency/one-off works.
