Job summary

NCR Atleos is hiring an ATM Field Engineer in the Derby or Nottingham area. You will diagnose faults, repair ATM modules on-site, and install/maintain equipment within your territory. The role requires lifting, travel, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

We provide full training and a company vehicle. The position pays £31,000–£33,000 per year depending on experience, with a 42.5-hour week and weekend rota likely.

Qualifications

• Valid Full UK manual driving licence.
• Strong local geographical knowledge.
• Experience in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair.
• Basic computer hardware and software knowledge.
• Experience with Windows operating systems.
• Experience in general PC hardware and software maintenance.
• High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• PIA licences desirable, but if you don’t hold one, it will be provided.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer facing relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, quick learner, and capable of performing well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and repair or replace ATM modules on-site.
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory/region.
• Take ownership of customer issues or incidents, ensuring satisfaction and SLA compliance.
• Adhere to Health & Safety Policy in all tasks.
• Role may involve prolonged travel and lifting/ carrying toolkits and parts.
• Work with company vehicle and driving allowances as applicable.
