• Job Title: Customer Engineer
• Location: Derby – Field Work
• Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 depending on experience
• Hours: 42.5 per week across 5 days with weekend work on rota basis

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform repair or replacement of ATM modules on‑site
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory/region
• Take ownership of customer issues or incidents, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with Service Level Agreements
• Role may involve prolonged travel, lifting and carrying toolkits/parts of varying weights, and bending, squatting, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods
• Full training and equipment provided; company vehicle available for personal use (fuel card included; BIK and mileage usage fee per mile apply)

Key Qualifications

• Valid full UK manual driving licence
• Strong local geographical knowledge
• Experience in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair
• Basic computer hardware and software knowledge
• Experience with Windows operating systems
• Experience in general PC hardware and software maintenance
• High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude
• PIA licences desirable, but if you don’t hold one, it will be provided
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer‑facing relationship skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong problem‑solving skills, quick learner, and capable of performing well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications (not Essential)

• NCR/Wincor ATMs experience
• Previous field‑based experience
• Previous engineering experience
