Job summary

NCR Atleos is hiring an Field Engineer to service ATMs in Derby or Nottingham. You will diagnose faults, repair on-site, install and maintain equipment across a defined territory. A full UK driving license, mechanical and IT repair experience, and strong customer-facing skills are essential for this role.

The position offers a salary of £31,000–£33,000, 42.5 hours per week, and a company vehicle with fuel card. Training is provided and weekend work on a rota basis may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Full UK manual driving license.
• Strong local geographical knowledge.
• Experience in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair.
• Basic computer hardware and software knowledge.
• Experience with Windows operating systems.
• Experience in general PC hardware and software maintenance.
• High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• PIA licences desirable, but if you don’t hold one, it will be provided.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and repair or replace ATM modules on-site.
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within territory/region.
• Take ownership of customer issues and ensure SLA satisfaction.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies while performing tasks.
