Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking a DMA Performance Technician to own District Metered Areas, analyze data, and lead leakage reduction efforts across a field-based patch near Kidlington. You will coordinate with internal teams and contractors to maintain network health and deliver environmental improvements.

The role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to make a tangible impact daily, with a 12-month fixed-term contract and a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to interpret data and translate into practical actions.
• Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and proactive approach.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including contractors and operations teams.
• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for leakage and DMA health across assigned DMAs.
• Analyse flow, pressure and asset data to identify trends and improvements.
• Support leak detection activity and unaccounted-for-water reduction campaigns.
• Develop reactive and long-term plans to improve network performance.
• Respond to DMA issues with effective interventions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure safe, high-quality repairs.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders with clear communications during works.
• Continuously review performance data to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Promote a strong health & safety culture.
