Job summary

Aspire Personnel Ltd is recruiting two Field Deployment Engineers to cover the Northern Territory and Midlands Territory on a fixed-term contract until March 2027. You will provide dedicated deployment support to the Field Service Department, delivering planned technology refreshes across the installed analyser base.

Responsibilities include Windows OS upgrades, security patch remediation, system reimaging, hardware replacement, software installation and data migration, with close collaboration

Qualifications

• 2+ years in 2nd line IT support or equivalent.
• Field IT support experience in customer environments.
• OS deployment, imaging, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• PC hardware installation, replacement and support.
• Networking fundamentals and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Data backup, migration and restoration experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer engagement.
• Willingness to travel; full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver field-based IT deployment and lifecycle activities.
• Perform Windows OS upgrades and security patch remediation.
• Reimage systems and replace IT hardware as needed.
• Install and configure software and migrate data.
• Validate systems to ensure analyser performance.
• Collaborate with Field Service Engineers, Support, Product Management, and customers.
• Minimise disruption to laboratory operations during deployments.
• Travel to cover Northern Territory and Midlands Territory as required.

Job description

Through continued growth they are looking to recruit a two Field Deployment Engineers one to cover the Northern Territory and the other to cover Midlands Territory.

This is a FTC until March 2027.

In this role you will provide dedicated technical deployment support to the wider Field Service Department, delivering planned technology refreshes and infrastructure lifecycle activities across the installed analyser base.

The role will be responsible for executing field-based activities including Windows operating system upgrades, security patch remediation, system reimaging, IT hardware replacement, software installation and configuration, data migration, and system validation. Working closely with Field Service Engineers, Technical Support, Product Management, and customers, the successful candidate will ensure upgrades and deployments are completed efficiently while maintaining analyser performance and minimising disruption to laboratory operations.

Your Profile to Shape the Future of Healthcare

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a 2nd Line IT Support or equivalent IT Professional role
• Extensive experience providing field-based IT support within customer environments
• Proven experience in operating system deployment, imaging, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Proven experience in PC hardware installation, replacement, commissioning, and support.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting
• Experience performing data backup, migration, and restoration activities.
• Demonstrated ability to support IT infrastructure and end-user technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and colleagues.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible approach to work, with a willingness to travel as required.
• Must hold a full driving licence
