Job summary

Industrious Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Deployment Engineer to provide specialist deployment, upgrade and maintenance of IT systems across healthcare diagnostic equipment at customer sites.

This hands-on, field-based role travels across the UK, installing hardware and software, performing Windows upgrades, imaging and configurations, and resolving connectivity issues to keep critical labs running securely.

Qualifications

• Strong practical IT background in customer environments.
• Experience with Windows, imaging, deployment and configuration.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot PC hardware.
• Good networking knowledge including IP addressing and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Windows upgrades, security patching and system updates.
• Reimage and configure PCs and IT systems.
• Install, replace and Commission PC hardware and peripherals.
• Install and configure software and applications.
• Perform data backup, migration and restoration.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Support network connectivity and basic IP networking tasks.
• Validate systems after upgrades and installations.
• Coordinate with Field Service Engineers and Product Management.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK as required.
