Orbit Credit Services is hiring a Field Collections Agent to meet customers at their homes within Gloucester. You will offer empathy, guidance, and practical solutions to help them manage finances while upholding regulatory standards.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and comfort working independently outdoors. A flexible 40-hour week includes peak shifts, with generous bonuses and a comprehensive induction.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers to resolve arrears and discuss payment options.
• Handle accounts for regulated and non-regulated clients, including reconnection visits.
• Accept payments, set up repayment plans, and re-engage clients with services.
• Educate customers on consequences of non-payment and update outcomes on the Orbit iPad.

Location: Within a 90-minute travel radius of your home (applicants must reside within Gloucester)

Salary: From £28,665 + £4,200 per annum car allowance + uncapped monthly bonus as a guide our current Field team earn monthly bonuses of up to £400

Earnings Potential: Up to £35,765 per year (inclusive of car allowance)

Hours: Flexible, 40 hours per week (including peak shifts)

About the Role

As a Field Collections Agent, you’ll be the friendly face of Orbit, meeting customers at their homes to help them find a way forward with their finances. You’ll offer empathy, guidance, and practical solutions that make a real difference.

Your key responsibilities:

• Visit customers to resolve outstanding arrears and discuss payment options

• Handle accounts for both regulated and non-regulated clients. This will include reconnection visits

• Accept payments, set up repayment plans, and re-engage customers with client services

• Educate customers about the potential consequences of non-payment

• Use an Orbit-supplied iPad to update account outcomes in real time

Working Hours

We offer a 40-hour workweek with a supportive approach to work-life balance. Your visits will be scheduled across the following operating window:

• Monday-Friday visiting times are between8am-8pm

• A number of shift pattern options available, you can choose between a 4 day or 5 day working week.

Requirements

• Clear criminal record

• No CCJs, IVAs, or bankruptcies in the last 6 years

• Full driving licence (max 6 points), own car, and will require business insurance

• Tech-savvy and comfortable working independently
