Caremark Coventry is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to lead and mentor Care Assistants delivering high-quality home care in Coventry, Nuneaton and Bedworth. You will conduct assessments, supervise visits and ensure safety and dignity in every interaction.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, compliance and strong communication. Full training is provided, with clear career progression in a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer assessments and reviews to ensure care remains safe, effective and person-centered.
• Introduce Care Assistants to new customers and oversee start of care packages.
• Carry out spot checks, observations and quality assurance visits.
• Supervise, lead and mentor Care Assistants in the community, providing guidance and coaching.
• Deliver inductions, competency assessments and in-community training for new and existing Care Assistants.
• Identify training and development needs and support ongoing professional development.
• Work with the Care Coordinator to ensure visits are covered and continuity of care.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and wellbeing, address concerns and escalate issues.
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and documentation are up to date and compliant.
• Promote safeguarding, dignity, independence and person-centered care.
• Participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency support outside normal hours.
• Maintain effective communication with customers, families and healthcare professionals.
