Job summary

Care Outlook seeks a Field Care Supervisor to support and develop home care services in West Wickham. You will ensure quality care, supervise carers, and participate in on-call duties to meet business needs.

The role requires a full driving licence and familiarity with CQC standards, with NVQ3 in Health & Social Care preferred. Training and development opportunities accompany a competitive salary and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred).
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
• Knowledge of CQC standards and CQC compliance (essential).
• Experience as Field Care Supervisor or 2 years in Health & Social Care (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, reporting training concerns to the registered manager.
• Deliver high standards of care.
• Participate in the paid on-call rota.
• Complete care assessments and write Care Plans.
• Build relationships with care staff and service users.
• Assist the registered manager in inspections by the local authority and CQC.
• Assist the care coordinator with duties as required.

We are currently recruiting for a Field Care Supervisor to maintain and develop our home care services in West Wickham.

Responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

Core Duties & Responsibilities as Field Care Supervisor:

• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, identifying and reporting training concerns back to the registered manager
• Ability to deliver high standards of care
• Participate in the paid on-call rota
• Completing care assessments and writing up Care Plans
• Building relationships with care staff and service users
• Assisting the registered manager in preparing for inspections by the local authority and CQC
• Assisting the care coordinator with any duties that may be required
