Job summary

Care Outlook is expanding its home care team in London and the South East. We are recruiting a Field Care Supervisor to maintain and enhance our services in the Battersea area. You will implement field-based quality controls and support Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

Key duties include supervising carers, delivering high standards of care, participating in on-call duties, and preparing for inspections. Benefits include a competitive salary, a company phone, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Full Driving Licence essential
• Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance desirable
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care preferred
• 2 years' experience in Health & Social Care preferred

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Care Supervisor to maintain and develop our home care services in the Battersea area.

Responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

Core Duties & Responsibilities as Field Care Supervisor

• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, identifying and reporting training concerns back to the registered manager
• Ability to deliver high standards of care
• Participate in the paid on‑call rota
• Completing care assessments and writing up Care Plans
• Building relationships with care staff and service users
• Assisting the registered manager in preparing for inspections by the local authority and CQC
• Assisting the care coordinator with any duties that may be required

Examples of the client's needs you will be supporting with as a Field Care Supervisor:

• Assisting clients with personal care (Washing, toileting, dressing etc.)
• Performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Observing, monitoring and record keeping.

We are looking for a Field Care Supervisor to join us who are:

• Full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
• Experience as Field Care Supervisor or 2 years working within Health & Social Care (preferred)
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
