Job summary

Care Outlook is recruiting a Field Care Supervisor to oversee and develop our home care services in the Lambeth area. You will monitor quality of care, support Care & Support Workers, and help ensure compliance with CQC standards.

The role requires a full driving licence, access to a vehicle, and previous experience in health and social care. We offer training, a competitive salary (£27,000–£28,500), a company mobile, and generous holiday. Immediate interviews and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle required.
• Experience as Field Care Supervisor or 2 years in Health & Social Care preferred.
• Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance essential.
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Spot-check carers in the community, identify good practice and report training concerns to the registered manager.
• Deliver high standards of care and participate in the paid on-call rota.
• Complete care assessments and write Care Plans; build relationships with staff and service users.
• Assist the registered manager with inspections and support the care coordinator as required.

We are currently recruiting for a Care Supervisor to maintain and develop our home care services in the Lambeth area.

Responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

Core Duties & Responsibilities as Field Care Supervisor:

• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, identifying and reporting training concerns back to the registered manager
• Ability to deliver high standards of care
• Participate in the paid on-call rota
• Completing care assessments and writing up Care Plans
• Building relationships with care staff and service users
• Assisting the registered manager in preparing for inspections by the local authority and CQC
• Assisting the care coordinator with any duties that may be required

Examples of the client's needs you will be supporting with as a Field Care Supervisor:
