Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to join our New Milton/Southampton team, supporting clients and care staff out in the community. You’ll help ensure high-quality care and build strong relationships with families and colleagues.

The role involves care assessments, supervising staff, and maintaining safeguarding standards. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, with on-call duties and some weekend work included.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care at a supervisory level.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, including on-call duties.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• At least 12 months remaining on right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out care assessments and regular reviews.
• Monitor wellbeing and safety of clients.
• Support and develop care staff through guidance and supervision.
• Foster a culture where concerns and ideas are raised openly.
• Ensure safeguarding practices and safety standards are upheld.

A day in the life of a Field Care Supervisor

As a Field Care Supervisor, you’ll be a key point of support for both clients and care staff. You’ll spend time out in the community visiting clients, checking in with your team, and ensuring everyone feels confident, supported, and able to deliver high-quality care.

In this role, you will:

• Carry out care assessments and regular reviews
• Monitor the wellbeing and safety of clients
• Support and develop care staff through guidance and regular supervision
• Help foster a culture where people feel comfortable raising concerns and sharing ideas
• Ensure safeguarding practices and safety standards are consistently upheld

You’ll also take part in the on-call rota, with some weekend working required.
