Job summary

Care Outlook is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to develop and oversee home care services in the Eastbourne area. You will ensure quality through field-based checks, support carers, and contribute to inspections while building strong relationships with staff and service users.

The role requires a full driving licence, CQC knowledge, and flexibility for on-call duties. NVQ3 in Health & Social Care preferred, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance.
• Health & Social Care experience (preferred).
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred).
• Experience as Field Care Supervisor or health/social care role (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Spot-check carers in the community and report training concerns.
• Deliver high standards of care to service users.
• participate in on-call rota and support the care team.
• Complete care assessments and write Care Plans.
• Build relationships with staff and service users.
• Assist the registered manager with inspections and quality checks.
• Assist the care coordinator with duties as required.

We are currently recruiting for a Field Care Supervisor to maintain and develop our home care services in our Eastbourne branch.

Responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

Core Duties & Responsibilities as Field Care Supervisor:

• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, identifying and reporting training concerns back to the registered manager
• Ability to deliver high standards of care
• Participate in the paid on-call rota
• Completing care assessments and writing up Care Plans
• Building relationships with care staff and service users
• Assisting the registered manager in preparing for inspections by the local authority and CQC
• Assisting the care coordinator with any duties that may be required
