Job summary

Cera Care is seeking a passionate Field Care Supervisor to join our team in delivering high-quality, technology-enabled home care. You will supervise carers in the field, conduct initial client introductions, and help build tailored care plans following assessments.

The role is field-heavy with admin tasks in the office, requiring strong organisational and communication skills to ensure consistent, safe care across our service area.

Qualifications

• Fully flexible and committed to the role.
• Proven work history in care or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of the care sector and its standards.
• Passionate about helping others and delivering high-quality care.
• Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Good IT skills for documentation and case management.
• NVQ or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet new care packages and introduce the service.
• Develop and review care plans for clients.
• Conduct client assessments and shadow carers to monitor quality of care.
• Maintain local knowledge of the area to ensure responsive service.
• Create and review care plans and conduct reviews.
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure safety standards.
• Audit MAR charts and log books for accuracy.
• Perform carer spot checks and supervise field staff.
• Conduct carer interviews and support compliance processes.
• Attend provider meetings and contribute to business opportunities.

Job description

We are looking for a passionate Field Care Supervisor to become an ambassador for Cera and an extension of our family. You'll carry out initial introductions, construct care plans, conduct client assessments, and shadow Care Workers to monitor the provision of care in terms of quality. It will involve 75/95% of time out in the field and 25/5% in the office for administrative tasks. We have an opportunity to bring service and support to the most vulnerable in our communities and continue on our journey to being the UK's fastest growing technology-enabled care provider., Responsible for the ongoing supervision on carers

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring customers' requirements are met
• Ensure your team are skilled and able to deliver a safe quality of care
• Complete meet & greet of all new packages
• Local knowledge of area
• Complete care plans and reviews of them
• Risk assessments
• Audits of MAR charts and Log books
• Complete carer spot checks and field supervisions
• Conducting Carer Interviews and supporting with compliance
• Attend provider meetings and support with business opportunities
