Bluebird Care Rother & Hastings is recruiting an experienced Home Care Supervisor to lead field care teams from the Rye office. If you’re currently in a Team Leader or Field Care Supervisor role, this is a great step forward to advance your career in community-based care.

You’ll supervise healthcare assistants, mentor new staff, complete care plans, assess clients before care, and participate in on-call rotas.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership or Field Care Supervisor role within the care sector.
• Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle.
• To be currently living in the Rother & Hastings area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field supervisions of healthcare assistants.
• Mentor new care assistants and assist in monitoring quality control.
• Complete care plans in accordance with company policies and care standards.
• Carrying out customer assessments prior to commencement of care services as required in the absence of the Care Manager.
• Taking part in the emergency on-call schedule on a rotational basis.
• Working closely with coordinators, care manager, customers, care assistants and external third-party stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

• Hands on experience in a leadership or Field Care Supervisor role within the care sector

What You’ll Be Doing:

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm
• Oncall one weekend in every 3

Experience:

• Minumum 2 years in domiciliary/home care
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care

Licence/Certification:

• Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle (required)
