Job summary

Beluga Rox is recruiting an experienced Field Care Supervisor in York on behalf of a leading home care provider. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary of £30,160 per year and opportunities for progression through recognised training and the Rising Stars programme.

The role requires a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, and a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in domiciliary or home care is required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience supervising care staff.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Comfort with computers and digital care systems.
• Available weekdays and alternate weekends.
• Full UK driving licence with own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supporting care planning, reviews and client assessments
• Supervising, mentoring and supporting care staff in the community
• Carrying out spot checks and competency observations
• Ensuring care standards, policies and best practice are consistently maintained
• Supporting safe medication practices
• Completing client welfare and quality assurance visits
• Supporting scheduling and other office-based duties when required
• Building positive relationships with clients, families and care teams
• Participating in the on-call rota

The Role

As a Field Care Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager and wider care team to ensure clients receive safe, effective and person-centred care.

You’ll have a varied role combining field-based supervision, staff development, client support and office-based responsibilities.

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or relevant equivalent experience
• Experience supporting or supervising care staff

• Confidence using computers and digital care systems
• Availability to work weekdays and alternate weekends
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
