Job summary

Cera Care Ltd is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to represent the company in the community, delivering hands-on support and ensuring high-quality care. You will introduce new packages, build care plans and assess clients, while shadowing carers to monitor service delivery and meet company standards.

You will split time between fieldwork (75–95%) and office tasks (25–5%), covering Thursday to Monday, with every 8th weekend off.

Qualifications

• Experience in frontline care supervision and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, care standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to plan and review care plans and coordinate with carers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise carers on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure customers' requirements are met and care is delivered safely.
• Ensure the team is skilled and able to provide high quality care.
• Complete meet & greet for new packages and orientate families.
• Maintain local knowledge of the service area.
• Create, review and update care plans and reviews.
• Audit MAR charts and Log books for accuracy.
• Conduct carer spot checks and field supervisions.
• Support with compliance through carer interviews.
• Attend provider meetings and support business opportunities.
• Be hands-on with carers and take part in out-of-hours on-call.
• Engage in team meetings and drive quality across services.

Contract Type:

Fixed Term 6 month Contract, Full Time, 37.5hrs per week - Covering Thursday to Monday 9-5 with 1 full weekend off every 8 weeks

Salary:

£27,117 per annum

About the role:

We are looking for a passionate Field Care Supervisor to become an ambassador for Cera and an extension of our family. You'll carry out initial introductions, construct care plans, conduct client assessments, and shadow Care Workers to monitor the provision of care in terms of quality. It will involve 75/95% of time out in the field and 25/5% in the office for administrative tasks.
