Job summary

Harbourne Associates is seeking an Area Sales Manager to own and grow a key territory in the industrial and construction sectors. This hands-on, field-based role focuses on meeting customers, closing deals, and building lasting relationships.

You will implement a clear territory plan, maintain a strong sales pipeline, and travel daily with a company vehicle. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven field sales experience in industrial, construction, MRO, or technical services.
• Confident, personable, and effective at building relationships.
• Strong territory and account management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel daily.

Responsibilities

• Hit the ground running with a clear territory sales plan targeting industrial and construction clients.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and aim for 8 face-to-face meetings per day.
• Win new business, grow existing accounts, and negotiate deals within guidelines.
• Work closely with local service teams to ensure customers are delighted.
• Keep CRM accurate and report on progress.
