Job summary

Life Services Group is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Central Region, covering the West Midlands and surrounding areas. You will drive funeral plan sales across the network, coach regional teams, and ensure compliant processes with a focus on customer outcomes.

The role requires field-based work, travel across multiple branches, and strong leadership to achieve targets. Excellent stakeholder skills and regulatory awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated sales environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to coach, train and develop colleagues with accurate record keeping.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Understanding of funeral director environment is desirable.
• Exceptional planning and time management skills.
• Extensive travel and flexibility in working hours.

Responsibilities

• Drive Funeral Plan sales and targets with Business Leaders.
• Grow Funeral Plan business via community engagement.
• Maintain the T&C scheme in region and ensure correct outcomes.
• Deliver induction training for new Funeral Plan Consultants.
• Conduct observations with feedback for development and improvement.
• Conduct 121s to discuss performance and KPI’s.
• Provide coaching to branch colleagues to improve outcomes.
• Monitor complaints and feedback.
• Demonstrate regulatory and customer-focused conduct.
• Maintain contact reports and meeting notes.
