Job summary

Sovereign & Bale is seeking a Progression Advisor in Gloucester (field-based) to support participants facing health or wellbeing challenges. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to coach and guide individuals toward meaningful progression and sustainable employment opportunities.

The role involves one-to-one coaching, coordinating access to specialists, and developing personalised progression plans across a wide geographic area.

Qualifications

• Experience managing your own caseload and working independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel across a large geographical area.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (implied by role).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with participants, creating a supportive environment for change.
• Deliver personalised, behaviourally informed coaching to boost wellbeing and progression.
• Assess strengths, barriers and support needs to develop healthy routines and self-management.
• Provide one-to-one wellbeing and progression coaching to build confidence and resilience.
• Facilitate access to community activities, volunteering, learning and support networks.
• Deliver practical employability support: CVs, interviews, labour market exploration.
• Support participants to engage with digital tools and remote platforms.
• Develop and review in-work support plans to sustain employment outcomes.
• Coordinate referrals to specialist services as required.
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with employers and partner organisations.
