Job summary

Pluss in Bath is seeking a Dedicated Progression Advisor to support people facing health, wellbeing or life barriers to build confidence, skills and sustainable progress. You will work across a wide geographic area, delivering personalised coaching and coordinating access to occupational therapy, wellbeing specialists and community services.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel extensively across a large geographic area.
• Own car and full driving licence.
• Experience working independently with a dispersed caseload.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or employability/wellbeing support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and keep participants engaged.
• Experience delivering one‑to‑one support and action plans.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with participants to support change.
• Deliver personalised, behaviourally informed coaching to boost wellbeing and progression.
• Assess needs and help participants develop healthy routines and self‑management skills.
• Provide one‑to‑one wellbeing and progression coaching to build confidence and motivation.
• Coordinate access to community activities and local services.
• Deliver employability support including CVs, interview prep and labour market exploration.
• Support participants to use digital tools and remote platforms.
• Create and review in‑work support plans for sustainable employment outcomes.
• Refer to specialist services when additional support is needed and maintain records.
