Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mobile Plant Engineer (Construction Plant) for a field-based role covering a Midlands patch. The role focuses on diagnostics, servicing and repairs of excavators and related machinery with full product training provided.

It offers a 39-hour week, no overnight stays, an early finish on Friday and clear progression routes into Senior Technician and Team Leader roles.

Qualifications

• Background in construction plant, heavy plant, or heavy vehicles/HGVs.
• Strong hydraulics and electrical diagnostic experience.
• Recognised Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds or equivalent technical qualification.

Responsibilities

• Field-based servicing, diagnostics and repair of construction machinery.
• Predominantly small to medium excavators and related heavy plant.
• Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding.
• Breakdown diagnosis and technical troubleshooting.
• Regional Midlands territory with no regular overnight stays.
