Job summary

Precision People is seeking a Mobile Facilities Maintenance Engineer to service commercial sites across the East and West Midlands, including Leicester and surrounding areas. The role covers reactive, preventative and planned maintenance with a strong plumbing and general handyman element.

You will travel to customer sites, manage diaries, and ensure work is completed to high standards. A full UK driving licence and hands-on experience are essential, with weekend on-call rotation and ongoing

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years facilities maintenance or handyperson experience.
• Plumbing qualification or hands-on plumbing experience.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Experience with fabric repairs: carpentry, doors, painting.
• Willingness to work weekends on on-call rota.
• Ability to work independently and plan routes.
• Strong communication with clients.
• Highly motivated and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites in the Midlands and surrounding areas.
• Carry out reactive, planned and preventative maintenance of commercial facilities.
• Carry out general plumbing repairs (leaky pipes, taps, toilets, doors, hinges).
• Ensure sites operate safely and effectively.
• Prepare, implement and monitor weekly, monthly and annual maintenance schedules.
• Manage your own diary and travel logistics.
• Complete tasks to the required standards within timescales.
