Job summary

Precision People is seeking a Mobile Facilities Engineer to service a Midlands portfolio, covering Leicester, Nuneaton, Coalville and surrounding areas. The role focuses on reactive, planned and preventative maintenance of commercial facilities with hands-on plumbing tasks.

You will travel to client sites, manage schedules, and perform on-call duties. A plumbing qualification and a valid UK driving licence are required; company van and fuel card are provided, with 29 days holiday and a pension.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Facilities Maintenance or Handyperson experience.
• Plumbing qualification or equivalent hands-on plumbing experience.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Experience with fabric repairs - carpentry, door locks, wall trims, painting/decorating.
• Able to work weekends as part of the on-call rota.
• Ability to work under own initiative and plan working routes.
• Strong communication skills with clients.
• Happy with early starts to drive to customer sites.
• Willingness to take any further appropriate training.
• Highly motivated.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites in the Midlands and surrounding areas.
• Carry out reactive, planned and preventative maintenance of commercial facilities.
• Perform general plumbing repairs (leaks, taps, toilets, doors, hinges).
• Ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently and reliably.
• Prepare, implement and monitor weekly/monthly/annual maintenance schedules.
• Manage own diary and travel logistics.
