Job summary
Pertemps Bristol Commercial is seeking a passionate Business Development Manager (Field Based) to generate and win new business within the parcels, logistics and e-commerce sectors. You will own the full sales cycle, build strong relationships with decision makers, and drive sustained growth across your territory.
This hunter role offers a strong base and realistic OTE, with uncapped earnings and clear progression into senior sales leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven success within business development or field sales.
- Experience within logistics, parcels, courier, fulfilment or e-commerce sectors is advantageous.
- Strong track record of winning new business.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercially driven and target-focused.
- Comfortable generating opportunities through proactive outreach.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- Generate and win new business opportunities.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting to close.
- Develop relationships with key decision makers.
- Deliver presentations and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate and win new customer contracts.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
