Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd represents a growing parcels, logistics and e-commerce business in Nottinghamshire. A Field Based Business Development Manager is offered with a £50,000–£60,000 base and a realistic £75,000 OTE for year one. Includes a £6,000 car allowance, fuel costs, and quarterly bonuses.

You will hunt for opportunities, build a territory, and drive the full sales cycle autonomously with uncapped earning potential.

Qualifications

• Proven success within business development or field sales.
• Experience in logistics, parcels, courier, fulfilment or e-commerce advantageous.
• Strong track record of winning new business.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Commercially driven and target-focused.
• Comfortable generating opportunities through proactive outreach.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Generate and win new business opportunities.
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting to close.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers.
• Deliver presentations and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate and win new customer contracts.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
