Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking an Essential Skills Tutor to deliver literacy, numeracy and digital literacy across field-based settings in South Wales. The role is full-time and permanent, with a salary up to £27,300 depending on skills and experience.

You will plan, deliver, assess and mark learning activities, contribute to standardisation and quality assurance, and maintain learner records to meet framework requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Essential Skills qualifications.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of Essential Skills through group and 1:1 sessions, ensuring learners meet framework requirements.
• Plan, deliver, assess, and mark learning activities; contribute to QA processes.
• Maintain high standards of quality and compliance with QA requirements.
• Accurately maintain learner records, documentation, and evidence of achievement.
• Support monitoring and achievement of performance targets.
