Job summary

Lucion is recruiting an Asbestos Surveyor to join our Hazardous Materials team around Hemel Hempstead. You will perform Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys, collect accurate site data, and produce high-quality NexGen reports while adhering to HSG264 and HSE standards.

You’ll travel locally, maintain thorough QA/QC, and provide clear guidance to clients. A full UK driving licence and a proactive, independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold BOHS P402 or an RSPH equivalent qualification, or a Certificate of Competence.
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 (The Survey Guide).
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Based in or around Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire or nearby.
• Willing to travel across the local region and occasionally further afield.
• Flexible for occasional out-of-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all disciplines of asbestos surveying: Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys, plus asbestos in the ground.
• Travel across Hemel Hempstead and Hertfordshire to client sites.
• Collect accurate site data using a phablet and produce reports via NexGen system.
• Follow asbestos legislation and guidance including HSG264 and HSE requirements.
• Maintain QHSE documentation and internal assurance processes.
• Provide professional, clear advice and interpretation to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and contractors.
