Job summary

Lucion, a purpose-led, people-focused business, is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to join the Hazardous Materials team around Sevenoaks, Kent. This is a hands-on, field-based role working across commercial buildings and client sites to assess asbestos risk, support safe, compliant projects and keep information moving efficiently.

You’ll collect accurate data, generate reports with NexGen, and ensure adherence to HSG264 and HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• Hold BOHS P402 or equivalent qualification and demonstrate field competency.
• Good working knowledge of HSG264 (The Survey Guide).
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Based in or around Sevenoaks, Kent; willing to travel across Kent and South East.
• Flexible for occasional out-of-hours work and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection (Management, Refurbishment & Demolition, plus asbestos in ground).
• Travel across Sevenoaks, Kent and surrounding areas to client sites.
• Collect accurate site data using a phablet and produce high-quality NexGen reports.
• Work in line with asbestos legislation and guidance (HSG264, HSE) and maintain QA processes.
• Provide a professional, clear service and interpret results for clients.
