Job summary

Nuaire in the Genuit Group is seeking an Area Sales Manager to secure orders from mechanical contractor accounts and grow design-and-build projects. You will collaborate with internal teams to uphold specifications and achieve sales targets across a defined northern territory.

The role is field-based, covering Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, Doncaster, Hull and Sheffield postcodes. Requires driving licence, strong relationship skills and project-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Current, clean driving licence.
• Experience in delivering product presentations.
• Familiarity with project and lead generation software; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic network of mechanical contractors and build relationships through visits, calls, and meetings.
• Respond to enquiries in a timely manner and be accessible for customers and colleagues.
• Collaborate with Specification Sales Engineer to protect specifications and negotiate profitably.
• Track projects from design through tender to contracts using CRM systems.
• Exceed area sales targets and KPIs such as call rates.
• Maintain product and technical knowledge across the Nuaire range and present information to diverse audiences.
• Coordinate with internal teams and report market conditions and competitor activity.
• Support marketing initiatives to promote Nuaire products and enhance brand awareness.
