Nuaire, part of the Genuit Group, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive orders from mechanical contractor accounts across Bradford, Halifax, Leeds, Doncaster, Hull and Sheffield. You will work 37 hours weekly in a field-based role, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet design and build specifications and sales targets.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will build a strategic contractor network, respond to enquiries promptly, and update CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Consulting or Mechanical Sales experience.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Self-aware with good people skills; approachable and capable of gaining trust.
• Good IT skills for administration (Microsoft Office or equivalent).
• A current, clean driving licence.
• Experience of delivering product presentations.
• Converse with project and lead generation software; training provided.
• Technical knowledge of ventilation products advantageous, but training provided.

Responsabilités

• Develop a strategic network of mechanical contractors and build relationships through regular visits, calls and events.
• Ensure timely responses to enquiries and be accessible for customers and colleagues.
• Collaborate with Specification Sales Engineer to hold and profitably negotiate specifications at order stage.
• Convert competitor specifications and design/build projects by tracking them through design, tender and order.
• Keep projects in the area tracked from design to contracts and update CRM systems.
• Aim to exceed area sales targets and KPIs such as call rates.
• Maintain product and technical knowledge across Nuaire ranges and present information to diverse audiences.
• Foster relations with internal teams and report market conditions and competitor activity.
• Support marketing initiatives to promote Nuaire products and maintain brand awareness.
• Maintain an up-to-date project log and provide regular updates to Regional Sales Manager.
