Job summary

Nuaire, part of the Genuit Group, seeks an Area Sales Manager to secure orders for its commercial ventilation ranges from new and existing contractor accounts. You will collaborate with internal teams to uphold specifications and win design and build projects, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.

The role is field-based, covering Bradford, Halifax, Leeds, Doncaster, Hull & Sheffield postcodes, and requires you to reside in the territory with a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering/related background required.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and IT capabilities; proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic network of mechanical contractors and build relationships through regular visits and events.
• Respond to enquiries promptly and be accessible to customers and colleagues.
• Work with the Specification Sales Engineer to maintain specifications and negotiate profitable orders.
• Track projects from design through tender to contracts and update CRM accordingly.
• Aim to exceed area sales targets and key performance indicators such as call rates.
• Build product and technical knowledge across the Nuaire range and present information effectively.
