Cura Terrae is seeking project archaeologists to support a busy summer and autumn schedule at our Barnard Castle site. We welcome candidates at various experience levels who are eager to learn and take on increasing responsibility, including those with geophysical survey interest.

A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential. You will work on a range of projects, combining fieldwork and office tasks, with on-site training and opportunities to develop skills across archaeology and

Qualifications

• Experience in archaeology and fieldwork is welcomed.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Good communication and ability to work under supervision.

Responsabilités

• Support the project lead in delivering archaeological projects to professional standards.
• Under supervision, complete allocated tasks including hand excavation of features.
• Work safely per health & safety requirements and report concerns.
• Ensure understanding of work required through communication with the project lead.
• Develop skills through training and on-the-job guidance.
• Maintain professionalism and accurate time reporting.
• Represent the company in a professional manner.
