Cura Terrae is seeking a Senior Supervisor to join our Archaeology team in Sheffield. The role offers field- and office-based exposure and the chance to lead small- to medium-scale evaluations and excavations while ensuring professional standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Willing and able to work away from the designated office as required.
• Holds a full UK driving licence (essential).
• Holds, or is working towards, PCIfA / ACIfA / MCIfA accreditation (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all archaeological works meet professional standards, Company policies, procedures, and relevant legal requirements.
• Lead and deliver small- to medium-scale archaeological evaluations, excavations, and watching briefs.
• Mentor trainees and junior staff as part of the Early Careers Training Programme.
• Proactively manage workload and staff to ensure delivery against scopes, timelines, and budgets.
• Represent the Company professionally when liaising with clients, local authorities, stakeholders, and the public.
