Job summary

Netomnia is seeking an Installation Engineer in Aylesbury to install fibre connections at customer premises and maintain outstanding service levels. You will report to the Field Manager and will work full time, Monday to Saturday, with overtime options on Saturdays.

A competitive salary plus a 20% target bonus and extra Saturday pay can raise earnings to £39,000 per year. The role requires a full UK driving licence, telecom experience, and health and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a role on or for the Openreach Network.
• Strong emphasis on Health and Safety practices and risk assessment.
• Proven networking engineering background preferred.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Physically capable of manual handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install fibre connections into customer premises and maintain high service standards.
• Ensure right‑first‑time installation and update relevant systems daily.
• Manage tools and vehicle per policy and complete tasks on time.
• Maintain H&S compliance and contribute to KPI achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partner teams to optimise work flows.
