Job summary

Scotsman Group in Scotland is seeking a Chef de Partie to support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen. You will cook, present and refine dishes to exacting standards while upholding health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or similar in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Creative flair and a passion for food.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a busy kitchen.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality and presentation.
• Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and health regulations (Level 2 Food Hygiene).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standards.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new dishes and menus with seasonal ingredients.
• Oversee your section, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and health and safety compliance.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Train, supervise, and motivate junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
• Take responsibility for preparing dishes for service, liaising with the Head Chef during busy periods.
